Principal

Kent Gosden

B.E. (Elec) Hons1, Dip Bus, Dip TAS, MIE Aust, Cert IV Trainer/Assessor, NER, RPEQ

Kent has worked as a professional engineer in the electricity supply industry since 1981. Since 1994 Kent has worked as an independent consultant to the electricity supply industry within Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, working on hundreds of different projects covering a wide range of disciplines - lines, substations, lighting, subdivision design and planning. He is the author of numerous electricity authority manuals and training courses.

General Manager

Max Gosden

B. ENS (Power), Cert IV Trainer/Assessor

Max has more than 15 years of experience in electric power distribution network design. He has completed numerous designs for subdivision infrastructure, overhead and underground power network augmentation and lighting within various parts of Australia and North America. He is also a qualified trainer and has conducted a number of courses teaching distribution network design.

Ivy Huang

B. Sc (Math), M. Econ

Ivy brings extensive experience in subdivision design, having successfully delivered many large and complex projects across Queensland. She is also highly skilled in streetlighting design, with expertise spanning residential subdivisions through to major infrastructure projects. At Electro, Ivy not only leads with her technical capability but also oversees our Quality Assurance systems and ensures full compliance with industry standards and audits. Her attention to detail and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable part of our team.

Brad Thomas

B. Bus, A.D Elec. Eng.

Brad Thomas is an experienced executive with a strong technical background and 35+ years of broad ranging experience within the Electricity Supply Industry in both Australia and New Zealand. Experience has encompassed both rapid growth and contraction environments, including over seven years senior managerial experience as the Mains Design Manager for Energex. Brad's extensive experience within Energex and Ergon enables him to help developers navigate the requirements of the various authorities from whom approvals are required in order to bring projects to a successful completion.
